Professional development and end-user training are critical to projects that employ technology to support schools and communities. Natoma has developed plans and programs for teacher professional development, and has designed, developed and delivered training workshops, trainer guides and participant resources.
- Sustainability planning for school-based telecenters
Natoma developed participant resources and leaders guides for a comprehensive one-week workshop guiding school principals and technology coordinators in calculating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of computer installations and in planning and leading community-focused revenue-generating activities.

Apple Staff Development: Private-sector teacher training in the US
During the 1990s, with JN4D, Ltd., Edmond Gaible provided curriculum development, training design and management services to seminal teacher-training projects for US-based corporations.
- Apple Staff Development
Launched in 1994, Apple Staff Development was the first nationwide technology-focused professional development program for US teachers. JN4D maintained a national network of trainers, delivering five courses focusing on technology integration, project-based learning and other key skills to over 12,000 teachers in elementary and secondary schools throughout the United States.
Edmond Gaible designed all training curricula and managed development of all training resources for these nationally renowned professional-development courses.

- Planning for Staff Development Multimedia CD
Working directly with researchers from the trailblazing Apple Classroom of Tomorrow (ACOT) program, JN4D developed a multimedia planning tool enabling school districts and schools to design and plan their approach to technology-supported teacher professional development.
Edmond Gaible mapped the content structure of Planning for Staff Development, managed conversion of ACOT materials and resources, and directed on-site video shoots at ACOT schools and teacher-development centers.
